About Me

I am a Product Safety and Quality Analyst at Whole Foods Market. My primary responsibilities include creating and reviewing testing specifications for various products supplied by both domestic and international vendors. Additionally, I manage daily communication with both suppliers and internal teams, and ensure that everything is running smoothly through the Product Life Cycle Management system. I also work to update product specifications and monitor project timelines.

In December 2022, I graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal and Agricultural Sciences. During my time at the university, I had the opportunity to gain valuable internship experience in food safety and quality, product research and development, as well as equine nutrition and exercise physiology. After graduation, I have continued to pursue my passion for science, sustainability, and agriculture by actively seeking new opportunities to learn and grow both personally and professionally.

In today’s world, having knowledge of various aspects of food production, from farm to table, is more critical than ever before. As the population continues to grow, we need to learn how to feed everyone sustainably, and this requires a deep understanding of the entire food production process.

I hold multiple certifications in CPR, Wilderness First Responder, HACCP, and Salesforce Essential Training. My passion lies in supporting local agriculture and promoting sustainability. I have a strong background in community engagement and service, having previously worked with the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and having received an honor for the most service hours of students enrolled in the Davis College of Agriculture. I am currently seeking opportunities to integrate my skills and interests in animal production, food safety, product innovation, and social responsibility into my professional endeavors.
